Anna's blends are more like smell experiences or perfume escapes, pure fun for connoisseurs looking for something beyond perfumes created with the help of modern synthetic materials.
For Second Skin we wish to invent a verb “to indulce”, a mix ‘indulge’ and ‘dolce (sweet)’. The flowers in the heart (ylang-ylang, jasmine and tuberose) have been ‘indulced’ in cognac, immortelle, ambery resins and indeed sweet cloves.
Being natural only blends, Anna's perfumes have a very peculiar projection: close to skin, quiet but excitingly complex upon a closer sniff.
Please be aware that natural perfumery has to be patch tested before continual wear.

Important notice:
Anna Zworykina’s blends are olfactive smellscapes (but neither aromatherapy, nor ‘spray-and-go’ perfumes). Her blends are sensory experiences, closer to works of art created in the scented plane (rather than, say, visual or audio).
Certain essential oils and absolutes that are used in her 100% natural perfumes may potentially cause allergies in some people. Please spray Anna Zworykina’s blends on fabric (on sleeves, scarves, etc.). This said, Anna Zworykina has acquired a huge fan base over many years and people interacted with her blends for quite a while now. We are not aware of any reports of any skin reactions so far.
However, Anna advises that those who are prone to allergic reactions, pregnant and nursing women, as well as people with chronic illnesses to be extra careful. Before trying natural blends, study the list of ingredients and consult with a doctor if you are not sure or a had a history of allergies. If you do decide to put these blends on your skin (unable to resist the temptation) always test the blend on the inside part of your elbow first and wait.
Do not spray these blends liberally as a cloud in the way you would spray a conventional perfume. Anna’s smellscapes need to be… carefully applied and experienced. Be mindful that some oils can also make your skin hyper-sensitive to UV.
All about this fragrance
Vibe check
This is a fragrance for close distance and slow movement: a scent that reads best when someone leans in, catching spice, floral warmth and a supple leather trace. It suits intimate evenings and quiet rooms where its vintage richness can unfold without needing to announce itself.
How to wear
Best worn in cool to mild weather, when its natural materials can stay plush rather than blur. Apply sparingly, ideally to fabric or a single pulse point, since the projection is intentionally close and the composition develops most beautifully in a soft halo rather than a cloud.
Who it’s for
For wearers who like natural perfumery, vintage leather accords and spicy florals with depth. It will appeal to people who enjoy sensual, resinous, slightly boozy compositions that feel textured, intimate and a little old-world rather than polished or transparent.

The nose
Anna Zworykina is a Russian perfumer and biochemist known for 100% natural compositions built as intricate olfactive artworks rather than conventional sprays. Her style favors depth, texture and emotional atmosphere, often reviving classical structures through natural materials with unusual clarity and restraint. For Second Skin, that approach shows in the fragrance’s soft leather accord, boozy warmth and dense floral heart. The result is a natural perfume that aims for complexity and intimacy rather than loud projection, with the kind of layered evolution that rewards close wear.
Anna Zworykina’s story
Anna Zworykina Perfumes is a house devoted to artistic natural perfumery: handcrafted blends, classical structures and emotionally charged compositions made without synthetics. The brand treats perfume as liquid art, favoring complexity, individuality and a quiet but memorable presence on skin.
Second Skin’s concept
Second Skin was conceived as a soft, antique-leaning leather fragrance, built without tar or heavy smoke and cushioned by thick florals, tobacco and gourmand warmth. Its boozy cognac opening and resinous floral heart give it the feel of velvet or cashmere against the skin, more cocoon than statement.
Extra info
Second Skin is one of Anna Zworykina’s better-known leather fragrances and is often described as a soft, gourmand take on the genre. It is an all-natural composition and is available in Eau de Parfum concentration.
