Once they started working together, Liis founders Alissa and Leslie discovered that as children, not only did they live minutes from one another, but they both collected perfume in tiny boxes. 

They were fascinated by the transformative nature of their treasures. Alissa, trained by the famed perfumery school ISIPCA in Versailles, and Leslie, a designer, artist and self-taught perfumer, founded Liis as a creative expression using scent as medium.

Each minimalist composition tells a story to be interpreted by the wearer.
